Who Knows You Best?

There is a lot of expert information out there.


And there are no doubt experts in every field. I would consider myself an expert in the area of nutrition.


Expert information is super valuable.


That being said, I have no doubt that YOU are more of an expert on one subject that anyone else on the planet.


You are an expert on you.

As Socrates said, “Know thyself.”


You see, when it comes to making changes, I bet, deep down, you know what you need to change.


You don’t need an expert to tell you that you should eat more vegetables.


You don’t need an expert to tell you that you need to sleep better and exercise.


Many times, information is not the problem.


It is an inability to get yourself to make the changes you know you need to make.


My guess is that you have some ambivalence toward change. You want to change...but you also have many reasons you don’t want to change.


For example, you want to eat more salads...but you really don’t want to stop eating pizza because it’s easy and tastes great.


So what can you do?


A coach could certainly help.


Especially a coach who understands how change works. A coach who can help you make the changes you want, but haven't been able to make. I would love the opportunity to coach you. Contact me if I can help you.

If you want to do it solo, that’s awesome too.


You might consider blocking out all the “expert” information for a moment.


Look inside and ask yourself these 2 questions:


What is the ONE small thing I could start doing today that I know I need to do that I am currently not doing?


And, what is the one small thing I could stop doing today that I know I need to stop doing that I am currently doing?


My guess is you know exactly what they are.

Once you know what they are, check out our previous posts on how to build or break a habit, and get started.


Small, incremental steps.


It’s how lasting change happens.
