Ever tried a diet that didn't last?

The name of this blog is one-minute nutrition, but don’t let that mislead you.  Becoming healthy does NOT happen in one minute, one week, one month, or even one year.  

​Despite what you will hear almost everywhere else: ”Transform your body in 90 days.”  “A year’s worth of results in just 60 days.” And on it goes. It’s not about what happens in 60 days or 90 days.  

​Anyone ever tried a diet or exercise program with outstanding results?  But then what happened? Did those results stick? Or did you gain the weight back, stop the workout program, return to your old ways of eating?  

I ask, because it’s the story of my life.  I have tried so many diets and exercise programs, and have been 100% convinced that “this was it.”  Guess what? It was not it.

We have to play the long game.  We have to find out not what we can do for the next 60 days, but for the next 60 years?  What can we sustain for the rest of our lives?

So let’s begin to shift our mindset from “How fast can I make this change?” To “How long can I keep it going?”  One-minute at a time.
